Why Dr Tamara Hunter and The Woom West Perth
The Woom was created from a simple idea: women’s health care should feel easier to access, easier to understand and more connected.
My dream was to help build a women’s health hub in West Perth, where patients could find different types of support under one roof. For many women, getting answers can mean seeing several people in different places. A gynaecologist here. A physio there. A GP somewhere else. It can feel tiring, especially when you are already dealing with pain, bleeding, fertility concerns or symptoms that have been dismissed before.
At The Woom, the aim is to bring care together. This may include support from gynaecologists, women’s health GPs, women’s health physiotherapists, fertility services and other allied health professionals.
For patients, it means the right people can be in the same place, talking to each other when needed, so your care feels more connected and less overwhelming. You can ask questions, explore options and be guided towards the support that fits your needs.
I consult at The Woom as a Gynaecologist and CREI-certified Fertility Specialist. I support patients with period problems, pelvic pain, endometriosis, PCOS, fibroids, ovarian cysts, menopause, fertility concerns and reproductive health questions.
Whether you are coming in for your first conversation, a second opinion or ongoing care, my role is to help you feel heard, informed and supported.
