More and more students are using e-cigarettes and vapers.

But there is little research on the safety of vaping.

“We have seen now the effects of acute toxicity and lung disease with these vaping devices. We have no idea about the long term effects. We know that in a woman, passive smoking can be a big effect on their reproduction and fertility. Kids born from men who smoke cigarettes have an increased risk of childhood cancers. We just know nothing about vaping and e-cigarettes devices,” warns Dr Tamara Hunter on Channel 9 Perth.
